Counselling and Psychotherapy services are not covered through OHIP. However, many extended health insurance plans cover services provided by Registered Psychotherapists, whom work under the supervision of a trained Psychologist. I am currently supervised by a Clinical Psychologist. You will be given an official receipt at the end of each session which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement

I recommend you check with your insurance provider prior to your first appointment to see if coverage for therapy services is included in your plan.

When checking with your provider, ask what kind of service providers your plan will cover:

• If your plan covers services provided by Registered Psychotherapists, it will recognize my credentials.

• If your plan covers services provided by a Registered Psychologist, it may cover my services. My practice is supervised by a Registered Psychologist which means services are overseen by my supervisor.

• If your provider covers a Supervised Practice, my services will be covered.

Each session lasts up to 50 minutes at a rate of $170 per session. Payment methods currently accepted include cash or e-transfer.

Cancellation Policy

 A cancellation fee is charged for missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24-hours notice unless it is due to illness or an emergency.
